The European School of Antennas (ESoA) was founded in 2004 as a distributed post-graduate school engaged with most accredited European research centres on antennas and wireless systems. Each year ESoA offers a one-week residential course. This year's course takes place at the University of Sienna, September 25th-29th on the theme of Metasurfaces and Metatronics. This year ESoA is teaming up with the H2020 FET-Open Co-ordination and Support Action Nanoarchitectronics to and the Metamorphose Virtual Institute of Metamaterials to deliver the course.
Over the five day programme PhD Students, Researchers, Scientists and Engineers from academia and industry will come together to enhance their knowledge on MTSs and MTX theory, analysis techniques, implementation and application.
The course draws upon expertise from across Europe. SYMETA researchers, Professor Yiannis Vardaxoglou (Loughborough University) and Professor Yang Hao (Queen Mary University London) will be sharing their experience and expertise across the week.
