We are currently looking for two Post-doctoral Researchers to join our team based at Loughborough University.
Role 1: Post Doctoral Research Associate in Manufacturing of 3D Materials
Working under the supervision of Dr Daniel Engstrom in the Additive Manufacturing Research Group
We are looking for someone to address the challenges of realising the physical embodiment of complex structures designed for high frequency applications and manufactured from one or more micro featured advanced materials. The ideal candidate will have experience in advanced manufacturing or processing of/with ceramics, metal loaded inks and polymers or materials engineering experience.
Role 2: Post Doctoral Research Associate in the Development of 3D Metamaterials using Additive Manufacturing
This post will be based in the Wolfson School of Mechanical , Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering under the supervision of Professor Yiannis Vardaxoglou and will work closely with colleagues in the Department of Materials. The role is responsible for developing Additive Manufacturing technologies for high frequency electronics; carry out RF measurements; and development, manufacturing, finishing and testing research outputs to the required levels of precision and accuracy.
Both posts are offered for two years in the first instance. The closing date for applications is 19th February 2017.
