Symeta reseacher Rhiannon Mitchell-Thomas was recently awarded an EPSRC impact award by the University of Exeter.
Rhiannon is currently in beautiful Stockholm working on a project to use broadband metamaterials and metasurfaces to design lens antennas in collaboration with Dr. James Watts at Flann Microwave and Prof. Oscar Quevedo-Teruel at KTH in Stockholm. This is the first of a number of visits to KTH and also to Flann Microwave to support this work. The project is due to be completed by March 2017. Rhiannon is hoping to share the results of this work at Nanometa 2017 and Eucap 2017.
