SYMETA at the European School of Antennas

This week, Professor Yiannis Vardaxoglou and Dr Will Whittow from the SYMETA Grand Challenge project and Loughborough University contributed to the European School of Antennas (ESoA) in Athens. ESoA invites post graduate students from across the world for intense training to reinforce the European training and research in antennas and relevant applications. It was founded in 2004 by a group in the framework of the FP6 Network of Excellence "ACE" (Antenna Centre of Excellence) and it is presently financed by a Marie Curie Action (MCA). Yiannis and Will provided their expertise on the broad subject of Advanced Materials for Antennas. Delegates enjoyed a fabulous week in the blazing sunshine of historic Athens.
